Education

At Wilson Mason, we understand that designing for education is about shaping environments that inspire curiosity, foster inclusion and support every stage of learning.

Drawing on our decades of education sector experience, we deliver projects across universities, schools, and colleges, creating flexible and resilient spaces that adapt to evolving educational needs.

Our expertise spans masterplanning and feasibility, through to detailed design, refurbishment and delivery. We have worked continuously with leading institutions, including the University of Manchester, Bury College, and the Department for Education, as well as many private schools and academy trusts, developing projects ranging in value from £50k to £30m.

Whether designing lecture theatres, science and research laboratories, residences or libraries, we bring a collaborative, stakeholder-focused approach that ensures each space reflects the institution’s mission and enhances the student experience.

Successful places of learning should bring people together, encourage discovery, and create lasting pride. By embedding sustainability, accessibility and inclusivity from the outset, our designs support the growth of healthier, wiser and more connected communities. Each project is tailored to reflect individual academic identity, providing adaptable buildings that will endure and inspire future generations.
