About the project
The design intent for the new building was to create a visually impressive development that conformed to the technical nature of the client’s core business activities and expertise in the medical sector.
The scope of works included a ISO7 clean room, the creation of a pilot plant facility for the development of surgical implants, as well as the provision of a 14-tonne injection moulding facility for the development of prototypes.
To support the work undertaken within the building, a standard laboratory module was developed to meet the requirements of different user groups. This flexible approach to space planning was applied in parallel to the supporting administrative accommodation.
